So, we all know that there was The Incident around July 2022, leading to Scorpion Express being closed indefinitely. However, I'm struggling to find any authoritative sources about what The Incident actually was. I've found two sources mentioning rumours about a fire (One from 2022, stating A few weeks ago, it was believed that Scorpion Express at Chessington has a minor incident and caught fire, and another from 2023, stating People claimed that the ride had caught fire) - but nothing explicitly confirming whether or not it definitely was a fire.

Couldn't find any mainstream news articles about The Incident either, and Chessington naturally hasn't said anything about it either (afaik), so if anyone does have any sources conclusively confirming what The Incident was, that would be greatly appreciated. 🔥HOTm̵̟͆e̷̜̓s̵̼̊s̸̜̃🔥 (talk・edits) 23:30, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
