My only association with those named in this page is our common last name. Who can remove the Caution? I plan to add further information about the first Schexnayders in Louisiana. I have added inline citations, but do not know how to delete the notice.Schexnayder (talk) 19:09, 28 September 2018 (UTC) {{Connected contributor|User1=Schexnayder}, }Reply

Attempted to establish more encyclopaedic tone (present to past tense for historic occurrences); large trim of original research (synthesis of sources for conclusions) and, more importantly, irrelevant genealogical material (see guidelines as indicated in edit summary)- it's clear that the main contributor to this article has been, over a considerable period of time, slowly adding more and more generations to this article, none of the individuals listed within which were of note. The only elements of note pertaining to this family seem to be the fact that the notable individuals of this name- as indicated at the top of the article- are from the U.S./ Louisiana, so their arrival from Europe is worth pointing out (if anything is); aside from that, a comprehensive genealogical listing is not how these "family" articles are intended to work. Finally, removed the redlink for an "Irving Schexnayder" b. 1961, who might well be the aforementioned contributor, and if not, is not particularly notable based on a check.
