Quasar

Association with quasar seems unlikely and needs sourcing.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Gary Glass (talkcontribs) 22:57, 2 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Avoid the mistaken transliteration "Savitŗi", and confusion with Savitrī will be much less likely. dab () 13:41, 12 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Savitar as an Aditya

[edit]

Evidence needs to be given that Savitar is directly called an Aditya in the Rig Veda. While Bhaga is certainly an Aditya and is compounded with Savitar in hymns to the Adityas, I don't believe that Savitar is by himself given the epithet of Aditya.Grathmy (talk) 21:09, 27 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

3rd Source

[edit]

The third source does not mention Savitar in particular leading me to question its relevance to the deity.Grathmy (talk) 18:07, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
