Trimmed down

[edit]

There was a lot of trimming of this article that took place recently. I think some meat was cut out with the fat though. I'm not going to wholesale re-insert everything, but I do think that her biography should be filled out more. Her upbringing is unique and relevant to her style as a writer for instance.—Zujine|talk 12:38, 31 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits

[edit]

Removed the following from the Essex Serpent section ‘In 2017 it was translated into Dutch.’ As “Her work has been translated into 22 languages” was inserted into top section

“Chelmsford County High School for Girls” was added to Alma Mater  Preceding unsigned comment added by Stiggler (talkcontribs) 15:29, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Excessive promotion?

[edit]

Normally, Wikipedia articles about authors lists their works. This article has a separate promotional section for each of her novels. Is this appropriate for Wikipedia? 86.190.224.120 (talk) 09:30, 20 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
