Mainspace?

I've just overhauled this draft and hope to move it to mainspace soon. The subject is notable, but the previous version did a disservice by overrelying on low-quality sources such as Sportskeeda and Dexerto—I have replaced them largely with the good website Dot Esports, rewritten some text, and deleted the (mostly trivial/tangential) rest that I couldn't find a reliable source for, including the extended discussion of Kick. I also removed things cited to this dead link of which I cannot find an archived copy—I'd love one, but the URL might be a sockpuppet's invention.

The article is shorter now, but I think it's in a better state overall. GameRant and copious coverage in Dot Esports should satisfy WP:BASIC. I thank previous editors, especially BritneyErotica (talk · contribs) who did good work giving the draft structure pointing to his various endeavors. Surname

@LaffyTaffer: The issue here is that while the source does say 'Armstrong' is his surname... it's wrong. I don't want to dox him so I'd opt out of including it altogether, hence why I removed it, but the source is wrong in this case. jolielover♥talk 17:43, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Yeah. I'm also not sure if it is 'doxxing' since it is linked to his online identity, but whatever. IIRC Sapnap has never mentioned his last name, including the one previously on the page. I believe the one on the page stemmed from a popular fan misconception that spread to news outlets. jolielover♥talk 04:55, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

I'm usually in favor of articles saying less for the sake of a subject's privacy (my stance might be stricter than the letter of WP:BLPPRIVACY, etc). If the subject keeps his name close to his chest as you say(I have no familiarity or interest in anyone in Dream's circle), then I have no objections to his name staying off the page. ᴸᵃᶠᶠʸTaffer💬(they/she) 05:19, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

I know this is a few months old now, but if the source has gotten his surname wrong, how do we know that it's correct with the information it's referencing thirteen other times in this article? Strugglehouse (talk) 10:58, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
