Etymology

[edit]

This article had an Etymology section, but unfortunately it contained only off-topic information.

It would be interesting and helpful to have a real Etymology section, which would need historical evidence – not history of the sansuke's job or how it developed, but history of the word 三助 – when was that word written for the first time, why was that word used and not another, and so on. The history of how the word was made, not of how the job was made. TooManyFingers (talk) 15:11, 31 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Fake "Etymology" heading

[edit]

There's a useful and interesting section here, on the changing roles of the sansuke. But someone keeps ruining it by giving it the pretend label of "etymology". There's no etymology in that section, not even a hint of it. Please don't use that fake label anymore. TooManyFingers (he/him · talk) 08:12, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
