Combined parishes
[edit]Either just the southern part (without islands) or may be Sandsting and Aithsting. see here. Finavon (talk) 12:54, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well the current parish, which has been including Aithsting since around the end of the 19th century, is just called Sandsting. The community council area, which perhaps covers about the same area, is called Sandsting and Aithsting.--Ratzer (talk) 05:57, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
Inclusion of Aithsting parish in Sandsting parish
[edit]The article reads After the parish of Aithsting was annexed into Sandsting in the sixteenth century, but the Ordnance Map of 1886 proves that in 1886 Aithsting was still a parish of its own.--Ratzer (talk) 05:57, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
