Found an article regarding the contest. It was advertised in Issue #99 (July 1985) of Dragon pg 17 as having a prize of $10,000. The text in the ad read "WIN $10,000 Play this game and SOLVE THE SANDMAN™ MYSTERY (See adjacent page for details.)" As near as anyone can figure out Pacesetter went bust before they got out all of the parts of the puzzle.--216.218.97.10 (talk) 21:25, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
