The dates are all wrong. James II could not have sold the Sancy to Cardinal Mazarin since Mazarin was dead when James was king. Charles I's queen, Henrietta Maria sold the Sancy to the raise money for the royalist troops in the English Civil War, which is not even mentioned. This section has to be rewritten to get the persons, events and dates right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.48.212.39 (talk) 20:40, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should it be mentioned that Marie Antoinette wore this diamond in her hair during a walk-about, shortly before the death of the Dauphin? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.179.19.172 (talk) 00:13, 14 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

First sentence

[edit]

The first sentence contrasts Mughals and the Indian origin in a funny way, although Mughals very much belong to India. This should be fixed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.233.44.239 (talk) 12:10, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
