Multiple biography of Samuel Rodtiguez report him as "leader of Hispanic Evangelical movement", referencing CNN and Fox News. There are other similar description from WSJ and other media. Puerto Rican immigrant parents?

It seems strange to refer to immigrants from Puerto Rico, since Puerto Rico is part of the US, Puerto Ricans are legally US citizens, and US residents can move freely back and forth to and from Puerto Rico and the rest of the US. Latino Leaders

An editor is repeatedly trying to use this publication to associate Rodriguez with a 101 Latin Leaders list. Thing is, while he's mentioned in that article, it's not as part of the list. He's instead on a list of folks who exemplify "what it means to be Latino in 2024". The book section is filled with statements about how the books are selling on the ECPA list. However, the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association list appears to be "what things published by our member publishers are selling well"; this is not some general Christian best-seller list. Per a request by Enseeman on his talk page, I have added sourced mention of the subject's involvement in Empowered21. However, given that E21 is led by the same guy as Oral Roberts University, has its archives hosted by the University, and seems to have other ties as well, it is not clear to me that E21 isn't a project of ORU; if it is, this should be phrased in such a way that makes that relationship clear, that Rodriguez is effectively involved in two ways with a single orgtanization. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 16:26, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
