COI tag (December 2025)

[edit]

After adding promotional material to this page, User: Young Dammy created a promotional article for Seraph Public Relations and Media, Ajibola's publicist. 🄻🄰 13:59, 13 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Article verifying Ajibola's connection to Seraph: https://www.thisdaylive.com/2025/10/20/seraph-public-relations-and-media-marks-two-years-expands-global-and-social-impact/ 🄻🄰 14:07, 13 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I am an independent editor and I have no financial or employment connection with Samuel Ajibola and Seraph PR. I acknowledge that I made some edits on Ajibola’s page sometime this year and I’m currently reviewing it to verify and correct, if, any promotional content is used.
Regarding the promotional claim for Seraph PR and Media article, the article is well cited and sourced from independent and reliable sources, such as Tribune and This Day, and the language is clear. The fact that Seraph PR is verifiably collaborating with notable public figures like Samuel Ajibola only reinforces the company’s real word impact and credibility. Additionally, this further meets the WP:GNG and refutes the claim of a non-notable and vanity subject. Young Dammy (talk) 17:48, 13 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi @लॉस एंजिल्स लेखक I have performed a cleanup of the article to address the concerns regarding the promotional tone. Specifically, I've removed peacock adjectives and subjecting phrasing (you can check edit history) and ensured all claims are well backed up.
Since you re-added the maintenance tags without specifying which sections is an issue, could you kindly point out if there are any further sections with issues. Also, I clarified the COI but you gave no response, yet you added the tag back. Kindly remove the tags. Young Dammy (talk) 06:44, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I concur that User: Young Dammy's editing behavior is highly suspicious. They recently removed some promotional language from the article and then immediately added the language back while removing maintenance templates. Regarding promotional language, phrases such as " gained international recognition," "a historic crossover," and "dedicated to empowering underprivileged children" are all subjective and promotional. Vegantics (talk) 18:58, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Vegantics I didn’t add the languages back while removing the maintenance template.
@Vegantics @लॉस एंजिल्स लेखक perhaps you two could help me in reviewing the edits and making necessary corrections.
We’ve been on this for a while. Let’s tidy the page up and move on to the next article. @लॉस एंजिल्स लेखक I’ll appreciate a response this time around and not your usual ignoring of my responses.
Thanks. I look forward to you both contributions. Young Dammy (talk) 20:05, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Young Dammy I started to respond on your talk page but I'll do so here instead. You absolutely did add the language back, which you can see by clicking the link that I included. Being dishonest about your edits only makes your behavior look more suspicious.
Additionally, other editors don't owe you anything. @लॉस एंजिल्स लेखक is under no obligation to respond to your request to make edits to an article. I would encourage you to move on to a different article and let this one sit until more neutral editors can assess it. Vegantics (talk) 20:12, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Vegantics now, I’m honestly confused. I’m pretty sure I removed the languages. If I added it back which I’m honestly still confused about how, it must be a mistake.
Let’s kindly move further discussion to my talk page. Young Dammy (talk) 20:23, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
In an unsurprising turn of events, User: Young Dammy was banned for undisclosed paid editing. Future promotional edits to this article should be heavily scrutinized. Vegantics (talk) 14:40, 22 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
