Height differs in sections

[edit]

The height given for S22 in Quick facts (140-something) differs from that given in section Lineup (155), why? 5.186.120.143 (talk) 22:27, 29 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Article split between S22 and S22+, and S22 Ultra

[edit]

I'm opening this discussion because user @~2005-31451-31 (I am assuming the IPs 197.145.158.162 and 157.173.96.79 are you prior to creating your account, can you confirm?) has now repeatedly tried to split this page without discussion. Tagging relevant editors (@Fragrant Peony, @Lp0 on fire, @LightandDark2000) as well. First of all, clearly this is not a split people see as necessary, so to that extend, I strongly suggest ~2005 opens an actual split discussion per WP:PROSPLIT if they really want to go through with it so that this can properly be discussed, clearly being bold is not a solution here. Second, be very careful about edit warring here. YannickFran (talk) 07:16, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

The same applies to the Samsung Galaxy S10 article in relation to the Galaxy S10 Lite: discuss first before splitting. YannickFran (talk) 07:18, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
The redirect is appropriate, a form factor of a product is not itself notable and if it's reverted again, it's off to AfD as far as I'm concerned. Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 08:25, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
The same has also been done for the Samsung Galaxy S20 article in its relation to the S20 FE. I'm note sure why any of these splits were ever done, and why they were executed in the way that they were. The articles from which both the S22 Ultra, S10 Lite and S20 FE articles were split off from discussed these devices in greater detail than the articles actually dedicated to the devices and the content that was in these articles were just plain copy-pastes. Both are clear indicators that these splits weren't just unnecessary, but also just confusing to readers. YannickFran (talk) 19:12, 7 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
