I tried wikifying Samosely#Population to create either blue or red links to the various localities listed, but Chernobyl itself was the only one with a relevant article. All the others were either redlinks or linked to articles about other locations of the same name, mostly in Poland.

Hopefully this will change in time. All of these locations are notable IMO. Andrewa (talk) 02:58, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I don't have time to correct this article but it has some serious problems. - the stats only refer to the Ukraine portion of the Zone. I tried to clarify this in a few words. - I don't know where to find Belarussian stats. - This statement is just wrong: "Besides the samosely, other visitors to the area include around 6000, mostly illegal, tourists per year." There are approx. 3800 Chernobyl plant workers and 3000 Zone workers who enter the zone each work day. I don;t know the numbers of tourists but most are legal. - The info about the one birth, while accurate, seems like it should be moved to a separate section?
