The article should acknowledge that SLS is available worldwide. It is used by the hard of hearing and in environments where the sound would be a distraction: waiting rooms, restaurants, pubs, etc. RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 03:36, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure why this article is entirely focused on India. It is very common for Japanese and Chinese TV to have same-language subtitles, for example, and I'm sure there are other examples. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.151.24.170 (talk) 08:55, 23 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
