Born 1859, not 1861
[edit]According to this study based on an extensive research, Marx was born Simon Marx in 1859 in Mertzwiller, Alsace. Alsace was French then, it became German (again) only in 1871. --RCS (talk) 16:25, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Why does this page exist?
[edit]Why is there a page for the father of the Marx Bros? Their mother was a driving force behind them during the early years so I can understand her having a page, but I'm unaware that their father did anything. I noticed that the original version of this page said he was a vaudeville performer, but that was removed. If he ever was he may not be even notable for that reason.
