Notice: I am a professor at Kansas State University and one of Sam Brinton's former professors. Sam Brinton does not have a BS in nuclear engineering. The BS degree he received from Kansas State University is in mechanical engineering. Kansas State University did not offer a BS in nuclear engineering between the years 1987 and 2025, and only offered a mechanical engineering BS degree within the Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Department. Kansas State University did offer MS and PhD degrees in nuclear engineering during the years 1987 and 2025, but Sam Brinton did not attend graduate school at Kansas State University. Sam Brinton did take five classes in nuclear engineering while at Kansas State University, but did not earn a degree in nuclear engineering at Kansas State University. Please correct this misleading mistake.

It's in the DOE source from the lede, which I added to the education paragraph, as well as changing the language to match the source to "from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering with a focus in nuclear engineering and vocal music."
