Accusations of sexual abuse

[edit]

I think it is important to include the fact that the alleged sexual abuse continued until after Sam Altman became an adult, though his siter was still a minor. Also that the case alleges his mother was aware and did not protect Ann Altman. ~2025-40911-82 (talk) 10:25, 15 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

sources? Czarking0 (talk) 18:51, 10 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
yeah, I agree. It's a gross oversight to not include a single sentence about the allegations against him. ~2026-23644-05 (talk) 16:52, 17 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@~2026-23644-05 What do you mean? It is mentioned in the article. Panamitsu 21:47, 17 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Seems a bit "washed"

[edit]

Wheres all the many controversies? Only the good things highlighted? Seems really suspicious. ~2026-18092-63 (talk) 14:16, 23 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

A new article in the New Yorker covers criticisms of him by his colleagues: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2026/04/13/sam-altman-may-control-our-future-can-he-be-trusted
Wikipedia will likely accept it as a source if somebody wants to cite it. An entry for the New Yorker at WP:RSPS compliments the New Yorker's "robust fact-checking process" although this is an aged 2011 assessment. But be careful about the weight given, and how it's worded.
They also discussed a homophobic assault he says he experienced as a teenager which might go in the article somewhere, like the personal life section. I don't know if he's ever mentioned it before now. I wasn't sure how to add it. VintageVernacular (talk) 14:21, 8 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Musk lawsuit

[edit]

Hi @MyGosh789. The lawsuit with Musk seems worth mentioning indeed, but it would likely be better in "Business career#OpenAI" than in "Personal life". Also, I think the paragraph is too focused on recent details. It would be better to take a step back and have a small paragraph explaining what the lawsuit is about. The details about when the jury was seated and the timeline of the testimonies risk getting quickly outdated. Alenoach (talk) 01:52, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Wrong answer

[edit]

Look at the question and answer I asked ChatGPT. People have been blindly trusting you guys until now. If this matter is published, what will happen to your situation? ~2026-30108-90 (talk) 13:34, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Could you please us give some hint about what you are talking about? Sjö (talk) 14:04, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
