Given the precedent with Julia Chinn who also has no surviving images from her lifetime besides political cartoons, would it be okay to have a cut image of her face from that cartoon Philosophic Cock used as the page image? ~2026-38825-76 (talk) 21:43, 8 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

No. That image is a caricature, with no relation at all to the person's actual appearance. It was done as a pejorative image. The image has been added and rejected/removed from the article before, see Talk:Sally Hemings/Archive 2#Caricature. - Shearonink (talk) 01:11, 9 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
