History and Why the Railroad History of the City Matters

A carefully typed and researched entry was made with the intent of showing how the railroad history of Salida has a very significant impact on the town, its past as well as its future. Since it was reverted with the simple comment saying it was an article about the town, not the railroad history of the county, I undid the revert. and made several more edits showing how history occurring in a town and nearby has a great effect on the future of the town's growth. For 90 years the entire town benefited from the narrow-gauge to standard gauge transfers that occurred in Salida. I invite the editor who made the reversion to comment at their leisure below explaining why she simply deleted my work and didn't actually challenge the edit instead. -- Srwalden (talk) 13:13, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
