various names of St Bega

[edit]

Could we have a citation or reference for the various other names of St Bega that are cited; Bee, Bey or Bez. I have not seen these names described before. Dougsim (talk) 19:49, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Major re-write of page incorporating some previous material

[edit]

I have undertaken a major re-write of the page including some existing material, but primarily using the work by Rev Wilson, and John Todd (which incorporates earlier scholarship). Also the addition of the stained glass image from the Priory.Dougsim (talk) 21:54, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Method of flight

[edit]

The article states that she "fled across the sea", but does not state the method. I had read that she flew across, riding on a clump of dirt, with the aid of a magical bracelet given her by an angel. See Can someone find a place to put this in?--Auric (talk) 22:26, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have not seen the clump of dirt reference...could you give me details? Dougsim (talk) 19:12, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
