Because Saini community is very much different from Mali community[1], they both are registered separately in the census of 1881, and can be seen in second column where saini mention in last of second column[2] and so on. Also the Mali was included under the Rajput sub-category in the 1891 State Census Report for Marwar.[3]

Why editors and administrators are ignoring this continuosly?
[edit]Wikipedia is meant for providing information to a reader but on this page of Saini caste, I have added a topic previously too for adding demographic information of the foresaid caste for various North Indian States with reliable sources but was archived, say ghosted by all the users who got access to edit the page. Still I am mentioning once again that a new heading should be added for information on Population/Demographics
Jammu - There are around 60000-70000 Sainis living in Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), concentrated in Jammu region.[1][2]
Punjab, India - Sainis are found in Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Patiala areas of the Punjab and constitute around 9% population of the state.[3]
Haryana - As per 2023 reports, Sainis constitute around 8% of the state population and are found in Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Hisar and Rewari districts.[4]
Uttarakhand - Sainis are found in Haridwar district of the Uttarakhand state where they are approximately 2.75 Lakh in numbers. In Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency Sainis constitute a significant population.[5]
I have provided reliable sources for all these states and regions, yet I am looking for reliable sources for Delhi, Uttar Pradesh etc. where there is the presence of Saini caste.
