The content of Sailfish Alliance was merged into Sailfish OS on 13 January 2018. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.

This article uses the name Avrora OS. This is most likely mistranslated. In Russian "Avrora" is actually how "Aurora" is spelled when using latin script. Most English language stories covering this topic report the name as "Aurora". Slacka123 (talk) 15:18, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have observed that this article is well sources. However, many of the important sources are primary sources. The rest seem to be small community youtube channels and blogs with no considerable verifiability. This would point to limited notability. However, some sources that are more reputable can no doubt be found. Most of this article, however, needs to be rewritten with reputable verifiable secondary sources. I propose this article be marked with a cleanup template for rewrite. Finfixer (talk) 19:17, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure I really understand. This article used to be an unmaintained mess. Much has been rewritten to be more factual. Ofcourse, facts need primary sources I would think, not secondhand information. If Sailfish uses glibc, let's point to the github repository, where else would you verify that better?
Most secondary sources I see are more mainstream media which give a general overview of what Sailfish is, who Jolla is, and what the software might mean to you. But that is just a glimps of what it constitutes and it often brushes over many details. I wouldn't know any good sources that would enrich this article.
