Jones Road Subway in Saidapet Chennai India
[edit]The new subway being constructed in Jones Road , Saidapet will be of great help to the residents. This locality has developed very faast and there are thousands of vehicles moving from West jones Road moving out to reach office / business place and return. Presently , all the vehicles use very narry raods like old mambalam road, Reddy Kuppam road creating traffic jam, accidents. Everyday , one or the other old lady or child gets into accident.
Once the Jones road subway is available to traffic, it will be of great relief to the residents. As the Subway is not very big, the givernment is planning to make it one-way -from West Jones Road to Mount road in the morning and in the reverse direction in the evening - like the arrangement in harrington Road at Chetpet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.254.147.36 (talk) 09:25, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
