Origin
[edit]Sadh community has an entire different picture of the creation of Earth, creation of mankind and the entire natural process of everything we see and do in our life. They believe in the supreme power which is above all other Hindu deities, "Sat Avgat" literal meaning: sat se avgat hona; for them its the true creator. Sadh community pray to their creator "Satgur Saheb". Rumors have it that this sect was started by Birbhan Sadh but the Sadh holy book "Nirvaan Gyaan" has mentioned that with the wish and command of "Satgur Saheb" the creation of Earth & mankind took place and everyone was Sadh at the begining of time, its what the people did and believed in& karma and their own doing led to the creation of different religions and sects. Their Holy book "Nirvaan Gyaan" has kadas which have the entire details from the day of creation and further. The book also contains rules and regulations in the form of Bani's(Shlokas) a Sadh should follow. the various Satnami sects

- Okay I'll try to give a description of the multiple Satnami sects using Britannica as a source.
- Earliest Satnami sect founded in Narnaul by Birbhan, rebelled against Aurangzeb, were crushed.
- An early 19th century group called Sadhs who worshiped "Satnam". Remnants of the Birbhan's group may have contributed to this group.
- Jagjivandas of Barabanki, influenced by a disciple of Sufi Yari Shah, led a group "similar and roughly contemporary" to Sadhs.
- Ghasidas of Chhattisgarh led Satnampanth/Satnami sect/Satnami Samaj, the most famous and important "Satnami" sect.
- So, that's a total of four groups. I'll try to cross examine this with Ramdas Lamb's book which cites another book by Saurabh Dube. TryKid [dubious – discuss] 11:59, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]I am following dual strategy of reverting this articles to last best version, when it was created and retaining the useful content (sourced) after that revert.
