There is significant room for elaboration in this article, but I believe I have gotten it started. The user guide for the software can be found here:https://www.satscan.org/cgi-bin/satscan/register.pl/SaTScan_Users_Guide.pdf?todo=process_userguide_download. It has an extremely comprehensive list of resources and citations that can be pulled from.
