The lede states "This was New Zealand's worst maritime disaster of the 20th century." Were there larger previous disasters or later disasters that were larger? If so, they should be linked. If not, the sentence should be changed.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Arch dude (talk • contribs)
The Orpheus wreck of 1863 is New Zealand's largest. I note, by the way, that the infobox says "75 people killed in what is classed as the deadliest maritime disaster of New Zealand." 189 died on the Orpheus. Grutness...wha?16:46, 13 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
