USS Jeanette Crew return trip
[edit]I believe this is the Steamer Parthia referenced by (later Rear Admiral) George W Melville (_In the Lena Delta_, p413) that took the survivors from the lost USS Jeanette expedition back to New York from Liverpool (arriving 13 Sept 1882). Especially as a major contemporary event, it seems worth adding to the entry, but I'm not sure how best to do so. ~2025-35511-96 (talk) 00:13, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
