Truncated rhombic dodecahedra

[edit]

While the satellites are described as spherical, by the look of it they are actually truncated rhombic dodecahedra, or am I wrong? This is somewhat relevant as you can fill space with rhombic dodecahedra alone, see rhombic dodecahedral honeycomb.

If I am right, maybe this should be mentioned in the article. — Tobias Bergemann (talk) 17:03, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the word "Spherical" from the article, it was obviously incorrect and seems to be a mistake derived from their SPHERE acronym. Chaosdruid (talk) 23:01, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. — Tobias Bergemann (talk) 06:41, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
