National Company for Rail Transport → SNTF – It’s the common name and significantly more recognisable. Ngrams can’t even find National company for rail transport but finds lots of appearances of SNTF; now, some of the matches aren’t for the railway company, but there are at least 90 such results on Google Books, vs 6 for National company for rail transport (some of which also include SNTF). SNTF is currently a redirect here so is presumptively the primary topic. SNTF is indeed not in English, but the native version is more common in English-language usage (well it’s not really the native name but let’s ignore that infelicity); cf. SNCF. On Google Scholar, there are four results for National company for rail transport, but over 300 for SNTF combined with Algeria and train or railway (most though not all in English).
