[edit]The article title is a term that is no longer approved by HUGO gene naming committee. See: http://www.genenames.org/data/hgnc_data.php?hgnc_id=17145; Also see: http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/O95295 for the protein people. I do not know how to change this. - For those stumbling on this later: there is a "move" button which lets you change the page name, but I'll fix this case.
- The current page name, SNAPAP, is an outdated gene symbol. The current gene symbol is SNAPIN. The uniprot recommended protein name, "SNARE-associated protein Snapin", is a bit on the long side, so I will just move the page to the new gene symbol. Pabnau (talk) 21:17, 10 September 2026 (UTC)
