Any idea when Napoleon blocked the sale to the CSA?
- None of the sources specifically state why - I'm sure the US government was leaning hard on him to block it
"on the Pacific coast of the island"? I'm confused, what island?
- Must have had Puerto Rico in my head - not that that island has a Pacific coast!
