Backplane Implementations of the SGPIO bus

[edit]

This section seams rather biased to AMI, making unsupported claims that their implementation is the "safest". It was also written by Clas Sivertsen, Director of System & Storage Products of American Megatrends, Inc. I don't know if anyone else has looked into alternate implementations, but if they exist this section could be rewritten.ChristopherTStone (talk) 23:00, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

I agree. And i wonder how such a trivial idea combining a microcontroller with an FPGA to control the SGPIO signal could be patented by AMI. This is something that can be found everywhere. That's why this trivial patent should be declared invalid. --37.209.89.37 (talk) 13:14, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
