Village/Hamlet or just a crossroads?

[edit]

I removed a speedy tag from this article because it's clear that Rye Cross exists and there is a settlement there. What isn't clear is whether this is really a distinct settlement or just a crossroads with a few houses. If the latter, I would suggest merging this into the article about the village/parish that Rye Cross is in, and redirect to that article.--Michig (talk) 18:49, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Nonsense, this appears to be no more than a housing estate, if it is even that. There can be no assertion of notability at all. I would be surprised if there is even an article on its parish. I would expect the SD to stand. Paste (talk) 20:11, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Whatever parish it's in should have an article here. There are plenty of references on the web to Rye Cross, so it seems reasonable to at least keep it as a redirect.--Michig (talk) 20:25, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
It looks like it may be in the parish of Berrow, Worcestershire.--Michig (talk) 20:40, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
