Greetings, Manitou Springs Fans:

A few years back, I read where Colorado Springs bought the water rights to Ruxton Creek, that they now divert the water to the city, and that the creek bed is dry. Is that true - it is not mentioned in the article? (When I was a kid in Manitou Springs, why walk home from school on the street when one could follow the creek bed, happily jumping from rock to rock?)
