[edit]What is the source for saying this species is a frugivore? I can't find any evidence this is true and it seems quite unlikely based on other genets' diets. Petemella 17:42, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- I consider it questionably, too, and as this request for a ref was placed there almost two years ago and no-one has provided one despite the long time that has passed, I am removing that sentense per WP:BURDEN. I also understand why it was thought that this article contradicted itself, as it referred to it as a carnivore. That, of course, is not the same as the member of the order Carnivora, but who-even added "carnivore" presumably didn't know the difference.
