Are new rusticles still being discovered now-a-days? — NHH9876 (talk) 03:03, 3 May 2021 (UTC).Reply

how do the bacteria eat iron? - Omegatron 02:21, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

"Since rusticles are found on wrought iron rather than other ferrous metals, it is supposed that the microbes also use the sulfur and phosphorus impurities found in the metal." Is this supposed to mean that rusticles are not found on other ferrous metals at all? If so, the sentence could be more clear - "...found on wrought iron, but not other ferrous metals,..." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.83.223.120 (talk) 18:44, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
