genocide?
[edit]i cant find info about genocide happened or not. at least, "genocide claim" topic should be there. pro-russian(for ukraine war 2022) people saying ""there is genocide" so thats why "operation" begin." ----modern_primat ඞඞඞ TALK 10:50, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

Why was "List of Ukrainians of Russian ethnicity" deleted?

- I would think that Russians would be listed as Russians for the same reason that in most countries someone notable is identified with their preferred ethnicity, not by the country where they're living and for which their only connection might be employment. 2603:6010:4500:7061:E16C:9B30:4B76:487F (talk) 20:34, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
- The current list seems to violate WP:NOTDIRECTORY. I also don't see what value it gives to the reader. Alaexis¿question? 12:32, 8 March 2026 (UTC)

List of people
[edit]The list of people is almost totally unsourced. Should it be removed? Helpful Cat🐈(talk) 13:50, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
- I've WP:BOLDly removed almost all the unsourced entries, leaving a few obvious ones such as Denis Kapustin (militant) and Oleksandr Syrskyi. Anyone can re-add entries that they have actual sources for. People like Oleksandr Pikalov, Kyrylo Budanov, Mykhailo Fedorov, Oleksii Reznikov, Dmytro Razumkov, Oleksandr Turchynov etc were all in the list with no source or rationale. I also changed the section heading to "notable ethnic Russians in Ukraine". Helpful Cat🐈(talk) 09:12, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
