Cleanup

This is a good start, but I'd like to point out several aspects of other articles that you might like to implement in this article. Also note that this article is an order of magnitude better than the other ACC Baseball Stadium articles. I'm just trying to help.

1. For a good example of an article on a college baseball stadium, see Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. It probably has all of the features I will describe below.
   See also: Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome and most of the pages in Category:Major League Baseball venues.
2. Logical sections are important; separating out the history, naming, attendance, and field dimensions is important.
   Now that it's broken into sections, you can see that you didn't have as much content there as you thought. This gives you a chance to fill in some more details and expand the article :)
3. The article has a few external links, but doesn't cite any references. To cite a ref, add <ref>[http://website.com description of ref]</ref> to the appropriate part of the text.
   See WP:Citing sources (shortcut: WP:REF) on how to use footnotes. It's good to use web sources, because people can have a look at them. Also look at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park's Reference Section.
4. It's not necessary to explain each external link - simply state the name of the link. Bullet link lists.
5. The physical location of the field isn't listed. Do so with {{Geolinks-US-hoodscale}}.
   I found an even better template on AT&T Park: {{coord|display=inline,title|37|46|42.14|N|122|23|22.88|W|type:landmark_scale:2000}}
   Google Earth then tells me the stadium is at 33 deg 46'38.93" N, 84 deg 23'41.19" W. :)
6. The page could use an infobox. Try {{Infobox Baseball Stadium}}.

The infobox needs some fields filled in; I did what I could with it. Namely:

1. a picture of the stadium
2. specific groundbreaking, opening dates
3. the field size needs to be converted to meters
4. any other field in the infobox you know (just remove the comment bits around it and fill it in)
5. it looks like you can split up "seats" into subsections, e.g., "chairback" "standing only" etc. having the number there by itself doesn't look quite right.

I noticed -- thanks! Hey, is there a way to adjust the width of the info box to make it a little wider, like the width of the info box in you Medlar Field example? Also, I've got some photos of the stadium that I could incorporate -- are there recommendations for sizing these photos?RamblinWreck 23:51, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure the box will stretch to fit the picture. You can upload a pic by using the "upload pic" link to the left. Be sure to state the license on the picture, or it'll get deleted in 7 days. No, they prefer to sell them at $5 - $7 a copy; surprisingly enough they did post the 2004 and 2005 media guides online in broken-up pdf format, but I'm hesitant to link to that because they could disappear at any time or the urls could be changed without notice —Preceding unsigned comment added by RamblinWreck (talk • contribs)
