Oldest Living First-Class Cricketer

Starting a discussion here, since it's at this article that the trail goes cold. It could be Ronald Coventry (born 29 May 1928) but it's not clear that he's still alive, or Neil Harvey (born 8 October 1928), who is definitely the oldest living Test cricketer. After Rusi Cooper's death it may have been Hugh Aldons, who was 99 when he died last year, and then Basil Rigg, who was 99 when he died this year. But that doesn't really help us. Harvey seems to be the oldest Australian, followed closely by Jack Clark, b 14 October 1928, and Tom Perrin, b 27 October 1928. The oldest overall that I can find who might still be alive is the Barbados player Gerald Wood, b 7 March 1926. Sammyrice (talk) 03:42, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
