DVD release
[edit]The Region 1 DVD claims it has subtitles, but it does not. Good luck with the accents. Varlaam (talk) 06:51, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Sequel
[edit]It needs to be updated. It took place in Paris and not the rumored Moscow. Feb 26 2012 — Preceding unsigned comment added by TFiPW (talk • contribs) 12:13, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Setting of film
[edit]For those of you who are confused Rush Hour 2 takes place in the Summer of 2001 five years after the first film. Some user was claiming according to the end of the first film which was set in the fall of 1997 and not 1998 like the year the movie was released is that Carter was saying he was going to Hong Kong with Lee for the first time and in the begining of the sequel Carter stated it was three days. The Director stated in an interview that this is Lee and Carter's second or third trip to Hong Kong meaning that when Carter was saying that he was there for three days it meant the days of the week month and season of the year he was in Hong Kong which is his second or third trip and not his first. This sequel takes place in the same year it was filmed in 2001. The first film was set in the fall of 1997 and not 1998 which the year the movie was filmed. --~2026-37039-61 (talk) 00:56, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
- You haven't provided any reference/source to back this up. "The director said in an interview" is not an evidence and claiming that this is "his second or third trip" is your assumption. Instead of constant edit warring with different temporary accounts, just find the source you are claiming to back up your claim. Saimcheeda (talk) 18:56, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
