Notability

[edit]

Is this game notable? No Metacritic reviews, and sourced solely to short TouchArcade and PocketGamer news stories (not reviews), an overview in 4gamer, and a Softpedia review. I wouldn't call that significant coverage. If this was a request, I would have just removed it for poor sourcing. czar 16:57, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Metacritic, or indeed the number of reviews a game gets, is not the be-all-end-all of notability. Considering I was able to use reliable sources to write a reasonably long synopsis of the game's gameplay, etc., in its entirety, I'd say that it fulfills notability. Usually when a game is non-notable you cannot summarize it from reliable sources without using original research. I'd also argue that the 4Gamer and TouchArcade mentions are pseudo-reviews, as they include subjective recommendations of the game, not just objective overviews.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 18:10, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Czar: Might this be a reliable review? Site does say that it has an editorial team.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 18:39, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Looks like your average Medium (website) hobbyist blog to me (having people designated "editors" doesn't necessarily mean they have any pedigree, editorial standards, or reputation for fact-checking/accuracy) czar 19:23, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
