@JuniperChill Not giving me any credit for editing and cleaning it up into a properly formatted and notable article before submitting it is wild. 😒😒 Afro 📢Talk! 21:08, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hey! I will review this within the next week :) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 20:01, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Danilo! This reminds me of when I reviewed your Matilda Freeman nomination in late 2025 so I now loved that we reviewed/nominated each other in GAN and DYK! JuniperChill (talk) 20:22, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I love that too! We work well together DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 13:21, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Review:

Hey, well done on the article! It is well written, well sourced and I cannot see any major issues. Earwig shows no major copyright violations and I cannot see any edit warring or unreliable sources. I just have a few comments:

  1. I do not think " actress, singer, and dancer" need to be linked (I am not against them being linked but I think it goes against MOS:OVERLINK)
done
  1. Could you please move the refs in the lead down? As they are not needed.
done
  1. "supportive family" seems more like an opinion - could you please clarify this? E.g. "her family supported her with her acting career" or perhaps a quote from her?
i've simply removed that statement as the source doesn't support it
  1. "She spent four years training in competitive dance, earning a number of minor national competitions and awards" - Can you please clarify if this was separate from Sábado Gigante?
im not sure tbh, seeing as the source isn't clear
  1. What was the tribute for?
it was a tribute performance; ive clarified it
  1. "showcasing her musical and dance skills" and "Her performance was complemented" - These sounds a bit unneutral, can they please be reworded?
done
  1. Can you please clarify what "The Mirror" is?
done/expanded
  1. Can you mention "Someone Saved My Life" in the prose?
done
  1. Can you please mention if she sung, acted and/or danced in the three music videos?
done i guess
  1. I merged a few of the short paragraphs together and added a "ref" column to the filmography table to make it clearer.
  2. In the filmography section, can you please add a note in the "notes" row of the last two credits to show that they are upcoming releases?
  3. Burlap is unsourced in the table and in the prose - is it possible to find a source anywhere? Maybe this?
done
  1. Is there any information on her personal life and/or what critics thought of her?
Regarding the 'personal life', The only thing I could give is that she has lots of hobbies and interests, really likes dancing and swimming, and is very close to her family saying "we're inseperable". I guess I could put that at the top of the early life and career section instead if its own section isnt warranted. (using Matilda Freeman#Personal life as a guide)JuniperChill (talk) 21:35, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
  1. Would it be possible to source the "television" table for consistency?
  2. It is not essential, but would it be possible to link the newspapers/websites (e.g. People) in the sources to aid readers?

Once these have been addressed I will do a source spotchek and pass the article! Well done for your hard work - please let me know if you need any help at all :) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 13:52, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for reviewing the article Danilo! I plan to make these changes perhaps next week since I just had one of my nominated GANs promoted today after spending over an hour on it, and I also have two GANs to review. This exactly explained why I took more than a couple of weeks between opening your Matilda review and closing it as it was also a backlog drive back then. JuniperChill (talk) 19:30, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have performed some of your suggestions, but i need to sleep now, seeing as I've been editing all day and are working tomorrow. I plan to carry on with this later JuniperChill (talk) 22:56, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@DaniloDaysOfOurLives I guess ive done everything, including adding the personal life section! I would note that this was a challenge, especially since its an article i didn't create. You could see (from the page history) that i was checking sources and editing the article if necessary. And its even more impressive that this hasn't even been reviewed by DYK yet! Getting a GA reviewed before DYK is such an achievement, not to mention that I nominated it for DYK two days before GAN! :) JuniperChill (talk) 00:17, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much for the changes! I have spotchecked Sources #8, #13, #18, #27 and #34. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 18:08, 17 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
