Important topic that needs more coverage and information. --Polylerus 20:40, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Maybe information about the environmental/social/economic impacts of rubber tapping should be included. I'm currently reading a book about the Wari' tribe in Brazil, and it mentions tensions between rubber tappers in Brazil and the local indigenous people. I know that around a few wars there were surges in rubber demand that sparked a lot of workers to come to South America for rubber tapping.

It seemed strange to me to have the slang use of "Rubber tapping" in IT be in the main summary of the page. Surely the main summary is for the overview of the topic at hand? I moved that sentence into the IT section of the page. Happy to hear an argument the other way, though. Story Weaver (talk) 11:12, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Article should be split.

[edit]

The whole section about "rubber tapping in IT" should of course be made an article of it's own, or joined with some other article, or simply deleted. It makes no sense to keep it here.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.11.116.186 (talk) 17:43, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
