Glaring Lack of References

• Article needs references and citations which should not be at all hard to find. Just a little bit of time will pay off on this matter. The original notice re sourcing was in Mrach 2008. I was going to edit the 2010 roster since it is inaccurate based on their first game against New Orleans. I went in to add a few names to the list and saw

. FYI, I actually just typed what appeared in the previous link. I would think this implies it pulls from elsewhere. What is the method for updating it to the correct list? Matt Kata played on their opening day roster and did not appear in the list, for example. Autkm (talk) 03:57, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Click on "edit" at the top of the template (table) in the blue. That will bring up the template were you can edit the actual roster. NatureBoyMD (talk) 15:27, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Split

I think this should probably be split into Round Rock Express for the current team and Round Rock Express (AA) for the pre-Triple-A team. Especially since the Triple A team is, technically, not the same as the Double-A team. The Triple-A team is the former Edmonton Trappers, and trying to combine the two is just confounding the information box. --Kitch ^{(Talk : Contrib)} 11:39, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

It should stay as it is. Despite not being the same team (i.e. the Double-A team did not "move up" to Triple-A), the Triple-A Express carries on the history of its Double-A predecessor. MiLB teams/cities like to keep the franchise history of teams with their name or teams that played in their city. For instance the AAA Evansville Triplets moved to Nashville to become the AAA Nashville Sounds. The AA Sounds moved to Huntsville, where they became the AA Huntsville Stars. In this example, the Triplets' history was retired, the AAA Sounds carried on the history of the AA Sounds, and the Stars began a new franchise history. This article indicates the Express just started what they consider to be their 11th season. Since the Express seem to be continuing the history of the AA Express, I see no need for a split.
