Someone put a lot of time and effort into this article researching sources and adding content. The problem it was not well written I'm sorry to say I found it nearly unreadable. You would need to grimly determined to work through it, I tried. Repeating information, information out of chronological order, grammatical mistakes, undue weight, self-indulging on tangential asides, hyper-detailed engineering information, trivial information. Wikipedia readers are "general", it should be easy to read and summarize the main ideas. Most of the new version is based on the old because I trust the editors who wrote it used reliable sources, even though none are listed inline.
