The chimney was part of the winding house for a tramway hauling ironstone between Hollins Mine and the Kilns at Rosedale West. It was demolished in 1972. See Ironstone mining in Rosedale, fifth paragraph of the History section. The joy of all things (talk) 20:52, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
