Relation to Ash Creek (expanded)
[edit]Based on the Reference 1 that already exists, I fixed the "15.3 square-mile" (is not a length) issue, that someone had added as a comment in the article text itself. I also added that the river is known as Ash Creek at the point of the tital influence (same reference)
To expand on the local name statement: https://web.archive.org/web/20150917201453/http://www.ct.gov/deep/lib/deep/water/watershed_management/wm_plans/rooster/rooster_river_wbp_tm1.pdf (section 1.1, Background) says, "The Rooster River forms the border between Bridgeport and Fairfield and eventually flows to Black Rock Harbor and Long Island Sound via the Ash Creek Estuary. Ash Creek is part of the Rooster River watershed and consists of the tidal portion of the Rooster River." That is, according to that source, the water called "Ash Creek" would start wherever the tide affects the river height, which is shaky, and probably changes from time to time.
