'Country' of the Rohillas
[edit]Instead of listing it like:
- Mughal Empire
- British Empire
- Rohilkhand Kingdom
- Rampur State
We could instead use:
- Rohilkhand Kingdom (under Mughals)
- Rampur State (under British)

- I've opted to just list Rohilkhand Kingdom and Rampur state alone. Other dynasty pages (like the Phulkians or Saudis), when listing the countries under their rule, do not list their suzerains. Only the states which they ruled. Ironborn392 (talk) 17:02, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
Origin of Ali Khan
[edit]On Ali Mohammed Khan's page, it mentions in his infobox (under 'House') that he was a "Rohilla (by adoption from Nain Jats)". Apparently, his given name was "Prem Singh Nain", before being renamed by his Afghan foster father. Can anyone clarify this (with citations)? Ironborn392 (talk) 17:01, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
- I found mention of Ali's original name being "Prem Singh"[1] (source quotes "Qissah Wa Ahwal-i Rohillah" by Sayyid Rustam Ali Bijnori). But there is no mention of "Nain" though, at least not as quoted in the dissertation.
