Contesting prod
[edit]Per request, I am writing a short rationale for contesting the prod of this article. In its current form, I see it as an informative, referenced stub for what seems to be a significant concept in agriculture. Besides, I see plenty of potential for expansion based on brief searches in Google books and Google scholar. One possible route for expansion would be to describe how roguing is applied for different types of crops. In particular, it seems a lot has been written about potato roguing, but also corn, rice etc.
Another thing: I think WP:CSB applies in this case. Articles about how our dinner was produced are just as important as articles about the TV shows we fall asleep to on the couch afterwards. decltype (talk) 09:51, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
