Comment: I'm going to accept. Searching online for The Anatomy of a Scientific Institution: The Paris Academy of Sciences, 1666–1803 finds many detailed reviews. It's definitely a notable book and I get the distinct impression this is a notable person under WP:NPROF or WP:NAUTHOR. However, I would advise adding some sources that aren't from the subject's employer or from WP:ENCYCLOPEDIA.COM. Some of the book reviews should do it to demonstrate independent sources reporting on the importance of his work. Mgp28 (talk) 17:26, 25 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
